Ledererhof

The hosts made us feel welcome, and our apartment was clean and comfortable. We spent a lovely week at Ledererhof in the Zillertal Valley, and would happily return. For our almost three-year-old, it was paradise: animals, room to play, a toy tractor and go-kart to ride, and lots to explore.

The children loved the garden, where all the kids staying there seemed to gather in the mornings and evenings. They also had fun splashing in the little stream to cool off. Steffi and her family gave us a warm welcome during our four nights in the "Zillertal" apartment, including homemade liqueurs. The apartment was incredibly clean, everything sparkling, which really stood out to us. We had two rooms with three beds in each. The beds couldn't be pushed together, and there was just one bed rail, so families with small children should reserve another in advance if needed. We hadn't realized before arriving that there would be no cows on the farm during our stay. It's mentioned on the website, but we missed it, and the kids were especially disappointed because we'd talked it up to them. Check the dates when booking. The petting zoo could also be better: as far as we could tell, the rabbits stayed in their hutch all day, and a larger enclosure for the children to pet them would be nice. Those are small quibbles, though. We really enjoyed ourselves, and the kids had a fantastic time. There's a capsule coffee machine in the apartment, with capsules available to buy at a reasonable price, so there's no need to bring filter coffee.

We were especially pleased with the spa area. The hosts were super friendly, the service was impeccable, and the accommodation was beautiful. Highly recommended.

The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and it was great to relax in the sauna and steam room after skiing. The apartment was well equipped, with everything looking new and high quality. The only things missing were basics like salt and pepper.
