After a long hike, this was a lovely place to stop. The food was very good and the staff were really friendly. Prices felt a little above average, though that may just be the area. There’s a small playground, and two little pigs in the garden for kids to watch. The outdoor seating was pretty ordinary, but perfectly fine.

The village is quiet, and the hotel is in a lovely spot near the lake. It’s clean and warm, and the food was great, especially the soups. The new management has only recently taken over and is working hard to get things off to a good start. One thing to know: because of fire regulations, there’s no hairdryer or kettle in the rooms, so bring your own if you need one, and maybe tuck it away when you’re not using it.

The lake is just 50 metres away, and the whole place was immaculately clean. My bedroom was large and comfortable, though the decor felt a little dated. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and were always smiling, with nothing seeming like too much trouble.

We went with Travelsphere for the Christmas Markets and would definitely travel with them again. The bar was busy with locals, but there was still room for guests, who were made to feel welcome. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent, with generous portions and plenty of choice.

The veggie burger was amazing, and the service was really nice. Prices were very reasonable too. If you're nearby, definitely give this place a try!
