The course itself is a great championship layout, with lots of water and some tricky holes, even the little ponds can catch you out. I was a bit let down by the general condition, though. The semi-rough was barely there, cut very short and dry, which is a shame for such a nice course. I’d happily come back and hope I just played at the wrong time.

There were plenty of friendly players around, which you don't always get, and we had some really good food at the restaurant afterwards. It's a beautiful course, though a few holes are quite tricky. I'd love to play here again.

We played during our yearly trip with friends. The course design and landscape are challenging, and I liked the speed of the greens, but finding your way around could be easier. The green fee feels a bit high, especially compared with Adamstal, where the price and service set a better standard. They have nice accommodation for a reasonable price, but the organization needs a lot of work. We had an 8:00 tee time and the reception only opened at 8:00 for check-in. The clubhouse and restaurant were fine, and the food was just okay, nothing special.

The main course looked very busy, but the smaller country course was quiet even on a Saturday in mid-season. For a second course, it's very good.
