We only stayed one night, and the beds were comfortable, the rooms warm, and the place quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was simply excellent. Service was a little slow, and the staff seemed somewhat distant with tourists. Even so, I’d recommend it if you’re passing through.

The warm welcome from Karin, Rupert and Hilde is what makes this traditional hotel special. This was my third stay, and I hope to return. Our twin room had a lovely mountain view, and the ensuite bathroom had plenty of hot water, just what we appreciated after our walks. Breakfast offered plenty to choose from, including fresh cheese and homemade jam.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and came across this great restaurant. The food was delicious, the people were pleasant and kind, and the prices were really good.

We had to wait for our food, but it was worth every minute. The local fish in its salt coating was a real surprise, and everything was simply excellent, perfect, super.

The lady of the house spoke rudely when we had a minor problem. Even after I asked her to change her tone, she wasn't willing to. I think she should be able to handle small issues with guests respectfully.
