Narzissen Vital Resort

The room was a bit dated and hot, and the food choices were somewhat limited. Still, the bed was comfy, everything was super clean, and the staff were fab. Great spa and service, in an amazing location just 25 mins from Hallstatt.

We spent four hours at Solebad on Sunday 26.10 and really enjoyed it. The outdoor pool in the main area looks out over the surrounding mountains, and the sauna area, though not large, has around 6 different saunas plus warm and cold plunge pools. Everything was exceptionally clean, the service was great, and the spa quality was excellent. Highly recommend!

After time up in the mountains, the salt bath and saunas were a great way to relax. We had an amazing time. The place is clean, and the staff are lovely and helpful 👍

The sauna and cold plunge area were textile free, which we hadn't known before visiting. My family and I come from a Middle Eastern Asian culture where that isn't normal, and when we wore bathing suits in the sauna, other guests complained and we were asked to leave. We were really looking forward to relaxing at this beautiful Austrian Alps spa resort, more than anywhere else on our two-week trip through Central Europe, but this experience means we won't return or recommend it to people from similar backgrounds. We were staying in the most expensive suite, after spending a fortune for a day at the resort, yet the shower gels hadn't been refilled in all the washroom spaces. The bedrooms also got quite hot in the peak August weather, and some pleasant ventilation would have made them more comfortable. For foreign visitors, I wish management would make more effort to consider different cultural backgrounds and needs. A time slot for guests who aren't comfortable being textile free in the sauna area could have helped.
