We didn't get the check-in details in time and ended up waiting outside. The shared kitchen and dining area were filthy, and the bathroom in our room hadn't been cleaned properly. Someone had even left a used razor behind. The listing mentioned bathroom amenities, but there was only shower gel. The beds were uncomfortable, both the sofa bed and the main bed. The room was advertised for four people, yet there was only one glass. They also asked for a security deposit, and the process was handled badly. The request was outside Airbnb policy, communication was stressful, and the refund was delayed. The stay fell short, especially on cleanliness, comfort, and management.

The host was very helpful, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. It's a great value if you're visiting hallstat, with a direct bus there and the railway station very close by. I know where I'll stay if I visit Hallstat again 😀

We really liked the top apartment, especially its beautiful view, which you can see for yourself. It was cleaned every day, almost like a hotel. Breakfast had plenty of everything, and a big plus was that the owner spoke English.

The hotel is under a five-minute walk from Bad Gosiern train station, making it a handy base for nearby places like Hallstatt and Bad Ischl, which are easy to reach by train. It feels like a home away from home. The hostess was lovely and made sure breakfast was excellent, with plenty of coffee.

Sylvia, the host, was cheerful and very accommodating, and the location was wonderful. The facilities had what we needed for a relaxing or romantic getaway, and breakfast was delicious. Thanks for hosting us, whether for a night or several weeks 😊
