The town is nice, and the hotel has lovely rooms with modern decor and good facilities. I’d definitely recommend it.
We stopped in for lunch and had a great time with the friendly staff. Our waiter spoke perfect English. I had the short ribs, possibly from a weekend special, and they were fantastic, tender enough to melt in your mouth and fall off the bone. Highly recommend them if they’re available.
We got there at 6 pm and were seated, handed menus, and asked for drinks pretty quickly. Our blackcurrant juice arrived promptly. We ordered the platter for two, and after just a 10-minute wait it came out on a hot plate, which kept everything warm while we worked our way through the feast. It had steak, pork and turkey schnitzel, fries, rice, onion rings, barbecued vegetables, pepper sauce, and currant jelly. The dining area is bright and open on one side, while the other has a stubn feel, with lots of wood paneling and tables with surrounding seating. There’s dedicated parking on the property too.
It’s a beautiful little town, and the hotel has spectacular views. My room was clean and very comfortable, with a balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice, and the beer was good too.
The manager really made my trip. The staff put in extra effort to make sure guests have a good time, and it’s a truly wonderful place.
