Hotel Panorama Royal

The bar was a lovely place to wind down, with good music and drinks, and Damian the Barkeeper really made the experience. His knowledge, entertainment, and service were incredible. The food was amazing too, and the wellness area was astonishing. Everything at Panorama Royal felt welcoming and relaxing, just the escape from everyday life I needed. I’d recommend it for a vacation or a great Day-Spa.

At Hotel Panorama Royal, even a quiet cup of tea in the lounge or watching the sunset felt restorative. The mountain air, peaceful views, and gentle atmosphere were soothing from the moment I arrived. It’s the kind of place where your heart remembers how good it feels simply to be, and your spirit seems lighter. A real sanctuary for the soul.

We came for dinner only and didn’t stay at the hotel, but loved the whole evening. The ambience was lovely, the food delicious, and the service both capable and impeccable. The non-alcoholic cocktails were yummy too. 10 outta 10!

We only had about 12 hours at Panorama, arriving around 9pm at the end of a ski trip and leaving after breakfast. I wish we’d looked more closely at the amenities, because we might have cut dinner short in Kitzbuhel to enjoy more of them. This is a beautiful resort and spa, not just a hotel, and we regretted having so little time there. The grounds were lovely, the spa looked amazing, the rooms were plush, and the views were incredible. Breakfast was an amazing buffet, well beyond an ordinary continental breakfast, though the EUR80 charge for a second person’s breakfast felt steep. We were looking for one night near Kitzbuhel, but most options in Kitzbuhel or Kirchberg required a full 7-night stay or cost $600+ for one night, which seemed very steep. Panorama was a 4*-5* experience and is on our list to revisit. If you’re skiing in Kitzbuhel and want to avoid its over-inflated prices, it’s a good option, about a 25-30 minute drive to the Fleckalmbahn Gondola. The hotel’s ski shuttle serves Skiwelt Brixen, not Kitzski. My one suggestion would be a larger covered parking area. There seemed to be space for only 8-10 cars, with the rest parked along the road. It wasn’t a big issue with just a dusting of snow the night before, though I imagine heavy snowfall could make it less convenient.
