Almhaus Perfler

You can put on your skis in the garden and head straight out, and there's a lockable ski room too. The holiday home sleeps up to 10 across four bedrooms, right on the slopes. We especially liked the comfortable beds, well equipped bedrooms and two bathrooms, plus the large dining table and bench seating in the kitchen. The living room's wood burning stove made evenings cozy. We'll be back for sure. Thanks for such a great time!

The alpine hut itself made our week special: it's comfortable, spacious, and has an ideal spot near the ski slopes. We particularly liked the kitchen and dining room, along with the nearby living room, where there are two large couches and a big TV. The landlady was friendly and easy to contact. We had a wonderful week at Perfler Almhütte, and we'd definitely visit again.

Even with only two of us and just three nights, booking the house was no problem, though it can sleep up to 10. We arrived and left smoothly without meeting the very friendly landlady, Ms. Martina Lackner, in person, just speaking by phone. The home is lovingly furnished and cozy, right beside the ski slope. I rarely sleep so well on a first night away from home. The kitchen has everything you need and a big dining table. There are a few board and card games, a wood burning stove that keeps the place warm, and two comfortable living room couches. If you don't have anyone to play with, you can unwind in front of the at least 65 inch TV, with Netflix and other streaming services. The newest gondola lift in the four lift ski area Bad Kleinkirchheim is right outside: Kaiserburgbahn I + II, Nockalmbahn, and Biosphärenparkbahn Brunnach. It's the highest starting point in the area and seems to keep its snow well into March. St. Oswald isn't a place for a tight budget, but it suits a comfortable mid range one. With luck, you might spot red deer at night. For a relaxing daytime break, I recommend Maibrunnhütte at 1760 meters above sea level. It has a huge sun terrace with deluxe loungers, an old gondola turned into an umbrella bar, and a blanket service. We'll definitely come back.

The kitchen was perfectly equipped, and after a day on the slopes we loved settling in by the cozy wood burning stove. This fantastic house is right on the slopes, with four bedrooms and room for 10.
