At 42 EUR a night, it’s fine. There’s a small kitchen for preparing food, but no dishwasher. There’s basically one room to sleep in; the other room is cold. The heating barely works, though the sink has hot water, and there’s one electric heater to help with the cold. There’s a Family hiking trail nearby. You can take the cabin lift from St. Oswald parking for 22 EUR, head to Rote Burg, then come back down through Bockhütte.

I’ve rarely slept so well. The beds are super comfortable, the hostess is very nice, and the view is incredibly beautiful. The furnishings aren’t new, but at €38 it’s excellent. We’d be happy to come back 🥰
