Ski-in-Ski-Out Hotel Garni Berghof

The deer steak was the one nice surprise. The rest was disappointing and pricey: the schnitzel was dry and bland with no sauce options, the drinks tasted too watery, and the pizza wasn't delicious. We won't go back.

Fantastic atmosphere, with delicious food and great service.

The owners are just the nicest people, and the staff are friendly too. Rooms are clean and comfortable, while the restaurant serves perfect food in an interesting interior. Recommended, 10/10.

We picked this place because we needed strict care with food for our newborn, who has an infant milk protein sensitivity. At serving, two dishes were mixed up. We asked whether there really was butter on the meat, since the menu marked it as milk-free, and were told, “well, it has this much.” At our request, the plate went back to the kitchen and a “new” one came out, described as a different dish, but melted herb butter fragments were still visible on the meat. Then the waitress brought over the menu to show that the food we'd been served listed milk as an allergen. We had to point out that we hadn't ordered that dish, and she realized two plates had been mixed up. The worst part was her lack of compassion, knowing this involved a newborn, with milk protein passing through breast milk. She lied about changing the food, then tried to prove we'd done something wrong when they'd mixed up the plates, and didn't even offer a simple apology.
