Alpine Tauplitz Top 5

We came back in 2026 and were still happy with the apartment, but the prices for 2027 stopped us from booking again. We paid around €1500-€2000 for about five days in both 2025 and 2026. Now they're asking €3,500-€4,200. That's absolutely insane, this greed. We've lost regular customers, and we won't be back. On our first stay, we were there for just under a week and were very satisfied. We wanted to return and would absolutely recommend the apartment. It's spacious, modern, and in a perfect spot, within walking distance of the valley station and a small supermarket. There are a couple of things to know about the layout. One bathroom has a sauna, while the other is inside one of the double rooms with no partition or door. That wouldn't have worked for my partner and me, so we used the other double room instead, which suited everyone. We took off a star because there was a lot of mold in the bathrooms. This is meant as well-intentioned criticism, since it could otherwise soon ruin the beautiful building. It was also very dirty when we arrived, but that's easy to fix. Otherwise, great. We were thrilled with this apartment and would rent it again. The wraparound balcony has fantastic views of the alpine pastures, Tauplitz, and the Grimming Mountains. Inside, there are three bedrooms for up to six people, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large dining and living room, plus an in-house sauna. There's so much to discover around here, several vacations wouldn't be enough.

Right in the middle of Tauplitz, with only a short walk to the cable car. The two large balconies and their lovely view are a bonus. Perfect place to stay.

Simone is a kind, helpful host. The accommodation has been beautifully renovated, and everything feels high quality.
