That Alpine meadow outside gives you plenty of room, with a BBQ, swing, little sandbox and a bench with a table. The village is charming too, with a fantastic bakery and lots of hiking nearby. We visited in summer, so we couldn't really judge the toboggan run in front of the house. Inside, it's a genuinely old Austrian farmhouse, with religious items throughout, rugs all over and a wood-burning stove. There are two upstairs bedrooms that sleep five altogether, plus a third beside the very old living room. The house stays cool in summer, and there's loads of space. There's no central heating, and in winter the bedroom may never get properly warm, so make use of the extra blanket. The stoves also take some effort to manage, though you can cook electrically, including in the oven. The bathroom fixtures are excellent, with one bathroom containing a toilet and another separate toilet upstairs. Some kitchen utensils are worn. It's an authentic, charming stay if you're up for a bit of an adventure.
