Hotel Alpen Arnika

Our corner room on the second floor gets plenty of light. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Karolina, who greeted us with a lovely smile. We’d definitely recommend it.

It’s a decent place to warm up, but of the places I’ve visited, this was the worst. The food came burnt or cold, and the portions were too small for one person. Even the ketchup tasted odd, and the hot chocolate wasn’t sweet enough.

The setting was a real winter wonderland, even in March, and the hotel’s location was great. We were picked up from the parking lot on a ski-doo, though walking would have been possible too. The friendly, helpful staff and amazing food made it feel like great value, especially with breakfast and dinner included. I also liked having sauna facilities. The children’s playroom was a cute touch, with lots of toys. I didn’t have a child with me, but I can imagine parents appreciating it. I’d never seen that in a hotel before.

What a lovely week of yoga, tasty food, and beautiful views. We absolutely loved our time here and will surely return!
