The staff were very friendly, and thanks for the hospitality. Breakfast was quite okay, but the room felt very sad. We arrived late, and my husband slept without a pillow. Why? (photo attached). The pillow was old and had no case ((( On our last day I realized we'd also been sleeping on a mattress pad, with no sheets (((( We asked for a replacement pillow and got one, but no apology. I just don't understand how rooms like this are acceptable. We paid 236 euros for two nights....

For an active holiday, this is a great place to stay. It's clean, comfortable, has what you need, and feels straightforward and homely. Just don't expect a luxury spa resort in the mountains, or you may be disappointed. Marek was a big part of the experience: an interesting, friendly, helpful host who really went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. Thanks! We hope to visit again soon.

The food was good, the atmosphere friendly, and they handled all our requests. A ski bus, basically a half-bus pulled by a tractor..., gives free rides to the ski lift. Hope to come back.

Pilsner Urquell on tap, good half-board, helpful owners and staff, and spacious, nicely renovated rooms. The chair lift is only a few hundred metres away. Good value for the price, and we'll be back.
