The staff could have smiled a bit more, and parking was available but tight. The room felt dated, though clean, and there was good hot water. The bathroom and toilet had no radiator or radiant heater, and the heating was simply turned down overnight. Breakfast was okay in quality, but the room was small and the communal table for around 10 people felt like a youth hostel. The spread seemed stuck in the 70s, with no fruit or muesli. It’s fine for a night or two or as a stopover, but I wouldn’t choose it for a holiday.

The location was great, the room clean, and the owner helpful and friendly. Still, I definitely won’t return. The room was VERY small, and I couldn’t get in with the wardrobe door open. The 70s furniture could use an update, and the bathroom (I wouldn’t call it a “bathroom”) smelled a little. Breakfast was okay, but there was no fruit, just three cucumber slices, some peppers, cheese, ham, and sausage. You can ask for more. I can’t say what the apartments or other rooms are like. I’d only recommend it for a short overnight stay. Disappointing.

I needed somewhere for the next day at short notice, and the owner quickly got an apartment ready for me and my son. Thanks again for being so helpful and making everything uncomplicated. It was all great. We stayed one night.

Breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Mine had a balcony, too. The guesthouse is in a peaceful spot, with Bad Schallerbach an easy walk away. I’d happily recommend it.

The hosts were friendly throughout, and breakfast came to the table arranged like a buffet, so I could eat without getting up. My small room had more storage than I expected, plus a little desk and a balcony. It was cleaned every day and felt surprisingly spacious. If work brings me back nearby, I’ll stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality.
