The breakfast didn’t stand out, and the room was really cold even though it was spring. The hotel feels traditional and old, though the room may have been modern.

My room was a letdown. The floor looked like it had been through one water leak too many, and the bathroom door was hard to open. There was a wet wall with cobwebs, the window and balcony door needed cleaning, and the shower needed repair. Many of the staff were friendly, polite, and accommodating. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and I liked the dining rooms’ coordinated colors. They looked very nice.

The room sizes are perfectly adequate, and if you get a good room, it may even have a balcony. The staff deserve credit for being helpful when problems come up. Breakfast was good. Room quality varies a lot even though the prices are the same. Some rooms are cleaner and have TVs almost twice the size of those in other rooms. Elsewhere, the shower is moldy, the TV is tiny, there are cobwebs on the ceiling, or the furnishings are poorly maintained. The sink in my room was clearly damaged and looked as if it had been smashed and glued back together. There’s a sauna, a salt room, and a collagen light shower, though I didn’t use any of them during my stay. The brochure also advertises a hotel bar, but on the evening we went it served only beer, and the staff seemed untrained.
