The beds were comfy and we slept well, and the breakfast was okay. Still, the hotel felt a bit overpriced for what we got. Our family room faced the street, and its window covers didn't block enough light. There was no elevator to our part of the hotel, so we had to carry our big suitcase up a flight of stairs. We'd also love to see the individually packaged jams and butter replaced with a more sustainable option.

We had a really great stay at Hotel Rotlechhof. My wife, our dog, and I were given a special ground-floor room, which made things easy with the dog. It was very spacious and clean, and the bed was high quality. We had half board, and the restaurant food was excellent. Breakfast was very good too. The staff were kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The wellness area was good, and free jackets and towels were provided.

The service was excellent. There's a lovely, peaceful patio out back with a great view. Definitely recommended.

The view was beautiful. We'd expected a room with a sofa bed for the kids, but instead got a two-room apartment with very comfortable beds, which may have colored this five-star review. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on it.

I stopped for lunch and ordered Wildgoulash. It tasted salty, and the meat was tough. The dish was served plain and didn't look very appealing. Maybe it was beef goulash, since the typical wild flavor was missing. I didn't dare complain because the waiter looked fierce.
