Any news about Bergmandl? Have the permits come through? I hope it all works out. It would be a shame if this charming, quaint inn and accommodation didn't reopen.

Does anyone know what's happening with the Bergmandl? Since Helga's death, I've checked online now and then for updates, but haven't found much. Is the house being renovated? Any information would mean a lot to me, as I always had wonderful stays there. Thank you so much.
The sheep farm is the only part operating at the moment. Once the permits are sorted, renovations can start. I plan to be there at the end of March 2025 and ask when Bergmandel might reopen under new management.
I used to come here for years, sometimes on my own and sometimes with friends. Since the lovely landlady passed away, I’ve really missed being able to visit. I hope the place opens again someday.
The area is really beautiful, and we enjoyed being there. I was surprised to find a restaurant up there at all, with just two houses and a little chapel nearby. We only stopped for drinks, so I can't say whether they serve food. The landlady was sitting outside when we arrived and gave us a warm but somewhat reserved greeting. Inside, there’s a lovely stove that must make the dining room cozy in winter, though the room feels quite dated. The curtains look straight out of the 70s, and there was a cigarette smell.
