The Wege to the cable car, regional buses, and the very good Gasthaus Engel are all close by. Herma has a completely different feel, with an authentic Wäldlerisch character. Its entryway, bathroom, kitchen-living area, bedroom, and snug sitting room are all lovely, and we found it hard to leave. Herlinde, on the top floor, is exceptionally spacious and comfortable. From the bay-window living room, the panorama keeps drawing your eyes outside, while the sun shines warmly in when you want it to. The building meets modern standards, yet the handsome old staircase gives the welcome area real dignity. The technology, furnishings, and practical details go well beyond what I’d expect from a holiday apartment. It could be my second home, and the hosts seem to have furnished it with just that kind of care and style.

Bezau made a lovely base for exploring the surrounding mountain scenery, and the house sits right in the center with good amenities nearby. We especially enjoyed the stylish, comfortable Herlinde apartment, where nothing seemed to be missing. Astrid welcomed us warmly and shared useful tips. We had a delightful holiday and would love to come back to this wonderful place.

The ski bus to Bezau-Mellau stops right outside and runs hourly, and we could get everything we needed nearby. For skiing, the wooden shed beside the house had boot warmers, so we started each morning with warm boots. Inside Design Apartment Herlinde, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, and their height meant we could see the mountains from bed. We cooked almost every night because the kitchen really had everything. Every room felt immediately comfortable, and the view was breathtaking. The apartment is so tasteful and modern, and the photos don’t even show some details, like the clever mirrored effects. They haven’t exaggerated a thing. We felt at ease from arrival to departure, including the warm welcome and little gift. It was like having the style of a hotel with the space and freedom hotels often don’t give you. We can recommend it to anyone, young or old. Simply wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back!

I especially enjoyed the personal art and photo collection, along with the thoughtful details and a bed that deserves five stars. The apartment feels personal and is tastefully designed, right in the heart of Bezau. The panoramic windows look out over the mountains and town. It’s peaceful, but you still feel cared for. Nothing was missing for me, and it was a lovely place to unwind and recharge.
