We had an awesome view of the north face of Kanisfluh from the apartment. The place was fantastic, with a clean, well-equipped apartment, a nice ski room, and friendly people. It’s only 2 km from the Mellau- Dalmüs ski area.

Haus Katharina feels like home to me, thanks to the family atmosphere and such lovely, welcoming hosts. The room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything needed for cooking. The house has a beautiful view of the Alps, too. Thank you so much, I’ll definitely be back!

The house is in the Hirschau area, rather than right in Mellau, so walking there takes a while. There are enough buses through and around Mellau to make up for that. I also like the traditional Vorarlberg timber construction, and it’s lovely here with such friendly people.

We’ve been coming back for many years and always enjoy our stays. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, well maintained, and has an elevator. The host is lovely. Our children and grandchildren love visiting too, and they always head home in tears.

It’s easy to get around by bus, and the Bregenzerwald card lets you use the mountain railways, buses, and outdoor swimming pools. The accommodation is nice, the landlords are lovely, and the place feels so relaxing. I’ll be back.
