The room layout is actually really good, and the landlord was okay. But the cabin itself was awful. There was a plate of pasta in a cupboard, old food in the fridge, and a used condom on a couch. There were also broken electrical outlets everywhere, along with patches of mold.
The photos on the site don’t match what we found. The owner told us they were from 7 years ago. Outside, garbage bins were right below the kitchen window, and trash was scattered around the back. Inside, there was very little storage for clothes, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. The chalet also lacked basic equipment: too few dishes, with only 5 teaspoons, and no vacuum, broom, or clothes-drying rack. The house is badly maintained inside and out, with damage in some areas, including holes in the bedroom floors. The cleaning was poor too: mold in the fridge, dirt in the microwave, hair in the shower, and dirty toilets. The road in front is very noisy, with trucks and motorcycles passing all day. Horrible!
We felt really comfortable here. The two-story chalet was very warm, clean, and welcoming, with good beds and even Christmas decorations and candy on the table. It had a dishwasher, washing machine, three toilets, and two bathrooms, plus a coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, fridge, and freezer.
It was cheap, but the place felt like a real slumlord setup, as if the owner just wanted to line their pockets. The owner even said, “That’s just how Tyrol is,” but no, it isn’t. I can’t imagine what it’s like in winter. There’s no ventilation, so it must get damp and moldy. Avoid it at all costs! We rented it for the last two weeks of July. On arrival, the cleaning hadn’t been done, there was a faulty electrical outlet and a deactivated fire alarm, and the laminate floor was torn, all in our room alone. Elsewhere, there weren’t enough kitchen utensils, the gate was broken and unsafe for children, and the Wi-Fi only worked in the kitchen and one bedroom. The bathroom was newly renovated but badly laid out, and the sofa was in a deplorable state. The house is right by the road to the Berwang ski resort, with countless motorcycles and trucks constantly passing for construction work.
We had 10 fantastic days with friends. There was lots of space, two bathrooms, three toilets, a big, cozy kitchen, and good beds. Thanks for a wonderful time! Maria
