We were right near the German and Austrian border, a handy base for driving to Füssen, the Zugspitze, and the waterfalls. Nearby sights include Highline 179, Neuschwanstein, and Lechfall. From our beautiful room, we could see snow-covered mountains through the windows. It was a lovely place to unwind, with a friendly, helpful staff and a good breakfast at a reasonable price.

We found this place at the last minute while driving back from Italy, and it turned out to be better than we expected. The village is nicely situated without adding any detour, and there are loads of activities for kids in summer and winter. Parking is free and spacious, the rooms are clean, and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was amazing, and the host was really lovely, though we couldn't reach them by phone. Thanks a lot!

We had a great stay, and the price felt very fair for what we got. The host was friendly and spoke English. There's plenty of parking beside the house, plus a place to leave skis and ski boots with a heater. Our room had a small kitchen and fridge, so we could make our own meals. The nearby lift takes you to the Berwang area, which we really liked.

We stayed for one night in 2022 and were quite happy, so we booked again by phone this year. Last time we checked in around 11 pm without any trouble. This time, bad weather and major traffic jams meant we were running late, so I called as a courtesy to say we'd arrive at 11:30 pm. The person on the phone was unfriendly and said check-in after 8 pm wasn't allowed. I pointed out that it hadn't been a problem the year before. He said the policy had changed. I checked our booking and couldn't find a check-in time listed. He told me to look on the website, but there was nothing there either. He still said they wouldn't do it and called us impolite for expecting to arrive at 11 pm. I couldn't believe we were being called impolite for giving notice. Eventually he reluctantly agreed to open the hotel for us at 11:30 pm. The next morning I tried to let it go, but then he complained about our reservation and wanted 120 euro more than the agreed amount. My confirmation showed a different price, so I refused to pay extra. He then said we wouldn't be welcome next year. As if!

Free parking was a nice extra. The people were kind, the room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was simple but tasty. I recommend the place.
