After a long day skiing we were really hungry, but even though we were first to arrive for dinner, it took an hour for the starter to come. That was far too long, especially for the kids. The service was terrible. Breakfast is from 8-10 am. One morning we got there at 8:30 instead of 8, and all the nice breakfast rolls were gone and hadn't been replenished. All communication was in German, both written and spoken, with little consideration for the many foreign tourists. The hostess couldn't understand a complaint in English.

We had a small issue with payment that was completely my fault. The lady who owns the place checked everything and helped me sort it out within an hour. The beds were incredibly comfortable and really good quality. The place, village, owners' responsiveness, and overall atmosphere were all great. I totally recommend staying there.

I've been to this restaurant many times, but I fear yesterday was my last visit. The menu has changed into something that doesn't fit an Austrian traditional restaurant. I can't believe they've taken wienersnitsel off it. Something has gone wrong here.
