Boutique Hotel das TSCHOFEN

We ate dinner there twice and were very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. The patio looks out onto a nice city-centre street, and the interior has a modern-classic feel. Of the eight dishes we tried, one was so-so and the rest were excellent, with very high quality overall. The staff were both professional and super friendly. It isn’t the cheapest place, but I thought it was good value. I agree with comments that the menu is small, including the vegetarian and vegan choices. In my experience, good restaurants often have shorter menus. If you want a place serving everything from pizza and local dishes to burgers, this isn’t it ;-)

It’s right in the centre of Bludenz, with well-planned interiors and exterior and windows that keep out noise. I loved both the room and the location, though finding your way through the connected buildings to the rooms can be a little tricky. I’d happily stay again.

The restaurant is stylish, serves really good food made fresh with locally sourced ingredients, and rooms go for around 200 a night. We stayed in a very comfortable, generous-sized room with a kitchenette and sofa bed. The boutique hotel is right in central Bludenz, spotless, and full of charm and thoughtful details. It’s bigger inside than you’d expect.

We arrived around 11:00pm after calling ahead to check we could get in. They gave us a PIN Code, but the keypad wouldn’t work. No one answered when we called the posted number. Fortunately, a waitress leaving the hotel let us inside after 30minutes. The management’s response is why I’m leaving a negative review: they said we must have typed too slowly or too quickly and insisted the keypad worked, even though we had recorded videos clearly showing the problem. They didn’t seem to care. We’d also reserved breakfast for our family, who we had invited, but the next morning were told breakfast was for hotel guests only. That put us in a very awkward situation. Never again!
