Wildkogel Resorts – Das Bramberg

The cable car right beside the hotel makes it easy to head up the mountain for the views, or ride back down by bike. You can rent bikes too, so exploring at your own pace is simple. There’s lots to do nearby, from skiing and hiking to cycling. We enjoyed the food, especially the pizza and fries, and there’s a specialty coffee café close by that’s great for a break with a mountain view. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. DAS BRAMBERG | Wildkogel Resorts has spacious, modern apartments with everything you need for a family or group. The snow-covered mountain views from the rooms are magical in winter. It’s a comfortable base with good food and beautiful Alpine surroundings.

The restaurant food was great, and the breakfast staff were wonderful. The cabin itself was very well built, and the sauna was awesome. There’s also a tiny pool that’s really meant for children. A friend rented the cabin for a weekend and we had a very nice time. Parking was a problem, though, and several people in our group had to leave their cars on the street. My friend said he’d paid for cleaning, but nobody came to clean while we were there. The other services were okay.

The breakfast was the worst I’ve had at any hotel, and it was expensive. Parking cost a lot too, with extra fees that hadn’t been shown when booking. Still, we had a paradise of a vacation and would definitely come back. The house was really spacious, with a view of the Alps, and the price was good. Everything else felt worth the money and time we spent there.

The apartment was clean and close to the lift, and we were at least given a late checkout. But our three night stay was ruined by the party and noise in the room next door. We couldn’t sleep at all that first night, and the next day we weren’t able to properly enjoy skiing in the mountains. The staff didn’t seem to care who they accommodated. If you’re hoping for a quiet family holiday, you may want to look elsewhere.
