The location is great, but I left hungry. We waited at least an hour for food, closer to two hours, and some drinks and dishes were forgotten. They missed my large drink, then brought me a small one after I reminded them. Very funny. The quality wasn't especially good either. This fairly new restaurant still has a way to go, which is disappointing for somewhere rated so highly.

Some of the staff are friendly, but most didn't seem interested in making us feel welcome. I've been coming for a couple of years, and since Ingo took over, both the service and food have got worse each year. Breakfast was among the worst I've had in years, with hardly any choice: plain pastries, jam, ham and cheese, and not even scrambled eggs. The place could be great with better management, but until things change I wouldn't recommend it. Prices have gone up, and you can find better accommodation.

The owners are the best, and Friday brings live music with the Boss singing. The team is friendly and helpful too, though some people still want more and more without appreciating that. The food is tasty and the portions are huge. I wondered if I could eat it all, and you can help yourself to as much salad and soup as you like. Clearing your own table is a fun idea that can teach kids and others good manners. The rooms are comfy, and the nostalgic ones have no Wi-Fi, which is part of the chance to relax away from social media. I really enjoyed the beautiful sauna. I can only recommend it to everyone.

After a full day skiing, the cosy rooms and generous food portions were just right. The place sits right in the middle of the slope, and the sauna was great, a real one. It'd be nice to have Wi-Fi in every room. The staff were nice and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
