CASALPIN Chalets

I’d always dreamed of staying in a Chalet with my friends, and this lovely place was even better than I’d hoped. It’s roomy and cozy, with great bedrooms, a garden, and views of the other chalets. Everything was provided, from Wi-Fi and a modern iPad to all the equipment we needed. The service and little details were so thoughtful. I loved it. Dreams can come true if you work for them.

We’ve stayed at Casalpin in Brand regularly for many years and always felt at home there. Since the switch to Keyone this year, though, the experience has changed for the worse. Our chalet used to be very well maintained, but this time it was visibly dirty when we arrived. We’d never encountered that before, and when we complained, the response was weak and unhelpful. The personal, warm, reliable service used to be part of Casalpin’s charm, and sadly that’s gone now. I hope the owner moves on from Keyone soon and the old standard returns.

The location made getting around easy, with the ski bus stopping right outside and the lifts very close. The chalet itself was spotless and had everything we needed, including toiletries and a capsule coffee machine, which you don’t often find in a holiday home. Geli, the guest service manager, was so friendly and helpful, even in an exceptional situation. The service was fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend these chalets.
