Haus Tuklar

We spent a week in Brand in July, enjoying the region in summer. I'd visited eight times before for winter snowboarding, but summer is just as beautiful. Staying at Haus Tuklar was our best holiday experience so far. Wohnung 22 is fully equipped for two, with a large balcony that gets plenty of sun. Everything, from the furniture to the kitchen appliances, was spotless and in mint condition. The appliances are all Miele, and there was even a compact 45 cm dishwasher. The location on the western slope at the foot of the mountain, right in town, gave us lovely views over Brand, the church, and the Mottakopf. You can order fresh bread each day for the next morning, delivered to your door or left in the Aufenthaltsraum. There's also a fridge there with beer, wine, Schnaps, and sodas. Those drinks cost extra, but the prices were very reasonable. The modern house suits all sorts of visitors, from hikers and bikers to winter sports fans, nature lovers, and people who enjoy good food. There's storage for bikes and hiking gear, plus a boot heater in the winter changing room. Covered parking is available too, though we found the region is best explored on foot and by public transport. The booking includes the Gästekarte, with free regional bus and train travel and discounts on some activities. You can upgrade to the Montafon-Brandnertal Wild Pass for unlimited cable car use. The host was so welcoming and keen to make sure we had a great holiday. The apartment was spotless and spacious, with very comfortable beds and a balcony overlooking a beautiful view. A perfect base for a mountain holiday, highly recommend!

We were really comfortable here, with everything we needed in clean, well-equipped accommodation. The service was relaxed, friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. The covered parking was handy too. It's in a quiet spot at the upper end of Brand, with sunshine and great views of the high peaks. Restaurants are about a five-minute walk away, and the ski lifts take around eight minutes to reach on foot. Lünersee is nearby for a peaceful walk, and Schesaplana, the highest mountain in the Ratikon, is practically on the doorstep. You'll love staying here. Book by calling them directly.

We had a six-person apartment for four of us, and it cost 25 euro per person per night. The rooms were spacious, and the apartments have everything you need to cook a nice meal at home.
