Appartement Irmgard

From the big balcony, we could take in a nearly 360-degree panorama toward Westendorf, and we also loved having a second balcony. Mornings meant coffee in the sun with the neighbor’s cows down below, while the view from the bathroom looked straight at the Brixen mountain behind the house. It was great for drying laundry, too. We stayed two weeks in the penthouse, the largest apartment, in midsummer with lovely weather. There were two adults and a child, and Grandpa joined us for a few days later on. The photos really don’t show how spacious it is. There was plenty of room for our things and comfortable seating indoors and out. The beds were good, and I slept well despite serious back problems. The pillows were a bit too soft and fluffy for us, so I brought my own. Everything was tidy and clean. The sheets were changed at the end of the week, and there were lots of towels, plus even a cheese slicer for the Dutch, haha. Irmgard keeps things very clean, and she was lovely whenever we had a question. The apartment is an easy walk to the Brixen cable car and the village Spar. If we come back to Brixen, we know where we’d like to stay. We had a wonderful holiday, thank you!
