Brixen has a small, local village feel, which made it a different experience from the larger or purpose-built ski towns. We spent a week skiing here and really enjoyed it: the food was great, the staff extremely friendly and welcoming, and the main gondola station is only a short walk away. It's a basic stay, but a satisfying one. Top tip, learn a little German before you come! 🇦🇹🇩🇪

The food and wine were amazing, and the service was great. There was also a place for the kids to play. What more could a family of four ask for? Fantastic.

We always enjoy coming here. The food is good quality for a fair price, the staff are friendly, and there are plenty of dishes to choose from. Lunch service runs until 14 hours, and dinner is at 18 hours or 20 hours in high season. During peak season you need to reserve for dinner. A few lovely dishes need to be ordered one day ahead, but they're definitely worth it. Have a look at the menu. This is one of those places we visit more than once on holiday.

The prices are good, the staff are friendly, and there are a few vegetarian choices. The mushrooms were canned rather than fresh, which gave them a slightly sour taste. There is a separate non-smoking room away from the bar area, or Zechstub'n, so you can eat without having to put up with the smoke.
