Berghaus Tschengla

There were 20 of us, adults and kids, for a long weekend at the Berghaus, which my children booked as a surprise for my 70th birthday. It suited a big family gathering perfectly, and we'll treasure that reunion for a long time. The self-catering facilities are top-notch, and every room has its own shower and toilet. The renovations have turned out really well. The house has lots of character and is lovingly designed. And that magnificent panorama and beautiful setting were a balm for the soul. May the Berghaus stay well preserved and welcoming for many years.

The Tschengla mountain lodge has been in perfect, well-maintained condition on every visit, and we've always felt at ease there. We've stayed several times with a group, enjoying winter activities and snowy scenery. This year we went hiking in fantastic weather, with lovely routes from the lodge, mountain huts to stop at, and plenty of chances to relax. Information about summer and winter activities is available in the lodge, so it's easy to plan. For self-catering, there's a large, well-equipped kitchen and a cosy, attractive living room where everyone can wind down together. The rooms are each furnished differently and are very comfortable. We recommend the lodge any time of year, and are already looking forward to coming back.

A rustic mountain cabin that still feels comfortable, with plenty of room and a well-stocked outdoor area full of seating. It's ideal for getting family or friends together. The rooms have private bathrooms in built-in bathroom cabins. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare a meal, including plenty of dishes. Wi-Fi, a TV, games and books are there too.

The lodge has a lovely view and is surrounded by unspoiled nature, with just a few other holiday homes around. It sits in a beautiful secluded spot beside a small trail that leads to the alpine pasture.
