I had to cancel a planned hotel stay because of unexpected medical circumstances. I know I should have read the fine print more carefully, and I understand hotels need cancellation policies. Still, I cancelled well in advance, leaving plenty of time to resell the room, but was charged what I consider an exorbitant, hefty fee. It felt unfair and unreasonable. I had hoped the hotel would take my circumstances into account and show some understanding or leniency. Instead, I felt frustrated and taken advantage of. It's disheartening to feel that profit is being put ahead of customer satisfaction and understanding. This has left me with a bitter impression of the hotel and significantly changed how I see the brand. I won't consider staying there in future, and I can't recommend it to others. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, reconsiders its cancellation fee policy, and adopts a fairer, more customer-focused approach. That could help rebuild trust and loyalty and give the hotel a reputation for empathy. My experience was disappointing and frustrating, and I hope the issue is addressed.

Dienten makes a great base for hiking around the Hochkönig region, and Willi and Silke were glad to help us plan a few day trips. Their suggestions for places to visit worked out really well, and we enjoyed them. We spent our holiday last week at the brand new Wildbach Lodge. The apartment we'd booked was in great shape when we arrived, and the website had let us choose both the period and the kind of apartment we wanted. There seems to be an option for every family size. Willi and Silke welcome guests with that familiar Austrian hospitality and make sure people have what they need. We'll certainly be back!

There are lots of outdoor things to do nearby, and I'd highly recommend visiting in summer or winter. The apartment was great, in a lovely, cozy village.

Magdalena at reception was so helpful and accommodating. The apartment complex is fantastic, with high-quality, tastefully furnished rooms, and it was spotless throughout. We'll definitely stay here again. A full five stars are well deserved. Best regards, Christian

Magdalena is lovely. Her service was some of the best I've experienced, and she made us feel at home right away. The accommodation was clean and very well looked after. We had such a good winter holiday that we've already booked for next year.
