Teresa was so kind and helpful, and shared information about the area and hiking routes. We loved relaxing on the balcony with wine from their winery. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view from both the room and balcony was amazing. We had a great stay at Bioweingut schmidi.

The wine was delicious, and the locally sourced food was so tasty. Lovely staff too. A big recommendation for your tastebuds.

We come back every year. It’s the best place in Wachau, with the friendliest host, a delicious breakfast, and top wines!

We arrived on Saturday at 4pm, but were told the place was closed, even though the sign said it stayed open until 6pm.

One of our favorites in the area. The wild fermentation wines were wonderful and exciting, the owners were nice and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Prices were reasonable too.
