The price felt far too high for a stay with so much noise. We couldn’t sleep from 7 a.m., and there was no consideration for guests or any offer of a refund. We’d booked the apartment for a week in Austria hoping for a relaxing break, but the building and the nearby construction sites were unfinished. Three construction sites surrounded the building, with noise on the balcony continuing into the evening. Then, just as we’d hoped for a quiet weekend, the owners began work right beside the house. Roads and access paths were being paved, while an excavator worked on the lawn edging, borders, and drainage. This continued on both Saturday and Sunday. Anyone thinking of staying should know that neither the building nor the construction work is finished. I expected more honesty from the landlords. With all that ongoing noise and construction, I can’t recommend it.
