The only downside was that the holiday ended too soon! We spent seven days at Schattaugut in February 2019, with ski slopes, shops, and restaurants close by. The owners were extremely friendly, and the place had a real "bio-farm" feel. Outside, the winter scenery was breathtaking, with two meters of snow everywhere. Our apartment was warm, cozy, very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Parking was free, convenient, and covered. WiFi was very fast and free, and the air felt fresh. Nights were quiet, so we slept well.

We had a lovely week here as a family of four, with our two dogs. The apartments were spacious, clean, and well kept, and had many things supplied that we'd usually need to bring ourselves. The owners made us feel very welcome and showed us around the lovely property. There’s lots to do nearby, and our favourite outing was the Dachstein Glacier, more than 2,000 metres up. Back at the property, we enjoyed the garden pool, table tennis, and billiards in the basement, along with the other amenities. Fresh rolls were delivered each day, and we ordered a litre of fresh cow’s milk each morning. The honey is well worth trying too. We’d be happy to come back.
