Bauernhof Trueferhof

The only small drawback for me was the mattress, which felt too soft. I know that’s a matter of personal preference, though. We spent Christmas skiing in Ehrwald and were glad to find a clean, well-equipped apartment at the Trueferhof for five people and a dog. There were two smaller bathrooms as well as an infrared sauna, which felt wonderful. The mountain view was breathtaking, and the ski area was only five minutes away. At first, I was a little concerned about the steep drive up to the Trueferhof, but in winter it was cleared and gritted several times a day. The lounge coffee machine costs extra, and makes a pretty good latte. We were very satisfied overall.

The hosts were especially friendly, and the apartment was beautiful, surrounded by mountains. We had a wonderful time hiking and going on a bike tour. There were some lovely extras, including an outdoor bathtub and an infrared sauna. We’d love to come back.

One of our best holidays ever. The hosts were kind and accommodating, and it was wonderfully peaceful. We had a beautiful apartment with a fantastic mountain view, and everything was perfect.

We stayed at the Hof Chalet in August 2023 and would absolutely recommend it. The whole Somweber family was friendly and helpful, and we’re sure we’ll return. The old farm has been renovated with a lot of care, while keeping its rustic character. Inside and out, there are cozy places to sit, especially the "living room" under the roof. Even on a rainy day, we were glad to spend time there. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the tap water from a nearby mountain spring tasted fantastic. We already miss it. The chalet’s setting is special, with magnificent mountains in front and vineyards and meadows behind. In the evenings, deer and roe deer would peek out from the woods. Our dog Daika, a Magyar Vizsla, felt at home too. The garden is fenced nicely, so we could let her run around freely.
