Haus Wetterstein

We rented the whole Haus Wetterstein for our class trip to Ehrwald and really enjoyed the apartments. There are three: Daniel for 4-6 people, Zugspitze for 6-8, and Sonnenspitze for 8-10. Sonnenspitze is the most modern. The apartments had everything we needed, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Check-in uses door codes. There’s a sauna area and laundry room with a washer and dryer in the basement, as well as a drying room for hiking boots or skis. The bus stop is right on the street, the train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and the supermarket is around 150 meters away. We highly recommend Haus Wetterstein.

The small terrace has just two chairs and a table, but the view is beautiful. Parking is right outside the large holiday home, which has several apartments for rent. Spar is about a 300-meter walk, and there’s a climbing gym and swimming pool almost directly opposite. We stayed in the Sonnenspitze apartment. The rooms were a good size, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Everything was clean. It’s a great holiday home for outings or relaxing, and access was easy with the code sent in advance.

We still recommend the apartment, and communication with the landlord was good. In June, our group of six rented the large 'Die Zugspitze' apartment. It earned five stars for location, size, value, cleanliness and kitchen equipment. The style didn’t quite match what the photos suggested, though. The bathrooms have a 70s look, and two of the three bedrooms are very basic.
