Sonnenspitze

We stayed in February 2025 and would happily return. The hotel was well kept, and the staff did their best to make us feel relaxed and cared for. Our room was modern, clean, and spacious. Breakfast was good quality, though the selection may have been a little limited. Dinner and service were excellent, worthy of a Michelin guide restaurant. After a day out, we loved the sunset scenery from the warm outdoor pool. The hotel is close to a bus stop with free rides to various ski slopes, and you can also walk to the nearest ski area, Sonnenhang Sunracer. Ehrwald seemed calmer and quieter than the smaller Lermoos. Evenings in the hotel bar were fine, or you could try the highly-rated Irish pub in Ehrwald, though we didn't get the chance.

The spa and relaxation area is pure bliss, and after the Finnish sauna the heated outdoor pool feels surreal in winter. The half-board meals are insanely good, even if they can feel repetitive sometimes, which does help keep a routine during ski week. I've been here twice already, and I'm planning to return a third time. The hotel is right in the middle of town.

The location worked perfectly for sightseeing, and the room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.

We had a refurbished room and it was fabulous, with the whole place spotless. The spa was another level, especially the lovely pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good selection at breakfast and dinner. Amazing hotel in Ehrwald village, ideal for a relaxing break. Highly recommend.
