Hotel Sonnenhof

The view is perfect, and there's a good range of food. Prices are fair and the service friendly. Nothing remarkable, but it wasn't too crowded either.

We were welcomed warmly, and everyone was really friendly. At about 800 meters up, getting there by bike was a workout, but the view over Lake Constance made the climb worthwhile. After the ride, we could head straight to the pool and sauna to unwind. Even though it was late, dinner was prepared with care. Thanks to the waiter who stayed on, he was attentive and courteous. Our modern, spacious room was quiet, and we slept well with the window open. Breakfast was generous and tasty too. A real highlight in a fantastic location.

For the best Lake Constance view, try to get a room in the middle or on the right side. This is a small, cozy hotel, and the restaurant was very good with friendly service. Breakfast is a modest buffet, but the food is fresh, tasty, and good quality. We'd gladly stay here again.

The roof terrace has an incredible view across Lake Constance, and the sunsets reminded me of ones I've only seen on Santorini. We stayed at Hotel Sonnenhof on Eichenberg last week, and we've become regulars. It's a lovely family-run hotel with spacious rooms, a pool, and a sauna. The service leaves nothing to be desired, and their cheese spaetzle is the best I've ever had. We'd love to come back next year.
