The town and surrounding area are nice, and the breakfast was good. It was clean as well. The hotel itself could be noisy, though, with walls that seemed paper thin, and one day there was no hot water. Still, I'd be fine staying there again in the future.

Our group stayed on July 1st and 2nd, and this was definitely our first and last visit. The towels were dirty and we weren't given replacements. The bed linen was unclean too, but we couldn't get it changed. At breakfast, the butter had expired two weeks earlier and the yogurt was stale. There were also lots of billing problems. The receptionist couldn't resolve things for us, and her German wasn't very good. We couldn't reach the manager, who wouldn't even talk to us by phone. In the end, we got nasty emails threatening legal action.
Breakfast was okay, and otherwise I didn't have anything to complain about, though this isn't a luxury place. I've stayed in both room types. The double was really nice and clean, but the single felt somewhat worn and dated. Its toilet was old, the shower looked small and cramped, and the radiator didn't work quite right.
The rooms had nice furnishings and the service was friendly, but cleanliness was a serious problem. The bathroom was absolutely filthy, with what looked like rust in the toilet and odd water marks, hopefully, on the seat. There were cracks in the wall, plus lint and dirt inside the cupboards.
