Heuholzmühle Privatzimmer

The hostess was so kind and helpful with our cattle dog. The house itself is a little gem, full of character, with lovely interiors and simple, stylish furnishings. It really does feel like walking into Heidi's house. For breakfast, I'd have liked fresher products, though I'd happily have a choice of homemade jams.

Getting there without a car can be tricky, since the mill sits out in nature, though Elixhausen is only a short walk away. I felt right at home and would love to return. The Heuholzmühle is beautiful and rustic, with so much care in all the details, and Christina puts real dedication into running it. She also made a delicious vegan breakfast when we asked.

The rooms are special and still show the history of this dream house. It's been renovated with such care, and the hosts make you feel welcome right away. We'll definitely come back 😍

Breakfast is brought to your table, and it's delicious. The hostess is very friendly, too. I came to Elixhausen for a training course, and my company had booked the rooms. At first I would have chosen a hotel, but once we got to the mill and settled in, I was really pleased. Everything was very clean and cozy, with thoughtful decor. Each room even has a kettle and a selection of teas. I'll definitely return for a private stay.
