We could comfortably spend our evenings celebrating Christmas, sharing meals and playing games with our four adult friends because the two-bedroom apartment was so spacious. Sonja made us feel at home from the start, and the location worked perfectly for the ski bus and restaurants. Ellmau may now be one of our favorite villages. We’ll definitely be back.

There’s a sauna and a few other things downstairs, and the gondola is about an eight-minute walk away. The staff were very helpful. It’s a nice hotel, though it sits opposite some busy bars.

The breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, including eggs, vegetables, fruit, sausages, salami, cheese, yoghurt, muesli and pastries, plus juice, tea and coffee. Our room and bathroom were clean and lovely, with everything we needed, including a toilet and shower. The owner was so kind and looked after us well. Staying an extra night was no problem, and being right in the city centre meant everything was close by.

The room was really nice and had all the basics I needed, including a TV, bed, shower and fridge stocked with cold beers. Breakfast was small, but had a bit of everything and was delicious. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
