The host was welcoming and friendly, and the apartment was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s close to the local restaurant and bus stops. It would be nice if breakfast were available to order.

The views from this place are amazing, and it’s in the pretty village of elmen, just a 1-minute drive from hahntenjoch mountain pass. The place itself is huge and feels luxurious. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, just lovely people. I’d recommend staying here to everyone!

The Lechtal Activ Card from the landlords included several mountain lifts, and the area is fantastic for hiking. You can set off from the house or drive or take the bus to another starting point. We spent two weeks at Pension Sonja in Elmen for our summer vacation in 2025 and felt very comfortable. The apartment was clean and quiet, apart from the church bells at 6:00 a.m., which wasn’t the landlords’ fault. They live downstairs in the same building, were very friendly, and responded to our requests right away. We’d book this apartment again if we return to the area, as long as it’s available.

We stayed in the smaller apartment for a weekend away. It was clean and nicely furnished, and parking was available. The hosts live right below and were welcoming, with plenty of suggestions for excursions and restaurants. There’s also a grocery store just 200m away. It was wonderful to enjoy the natural surroundings and come back to a comfortable room. Highly recommended.

We stayed as a large group in both the large and small apartments, and it worked perfectly as a base for exploring the Lech Valley. There’s a spacious living area for everyone, and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was spotless and furnished with care and attention to detail, with everything we needed. The owners gave us a warm welcome and looked after us well. We had a wonderful, relaxing time in Elmen, and Ferienwohnung Sonja will definitely see us again. Highly recommended.
