Am Limes Hotel

I woke up with a rash, and this was easily the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The sheets smelled, there was no shower curtain, and the whole building looked as if it hadn't been renovated in 30 years. Breakfast offered two kinds of bread and only apple and orange juice for drinks. The coffee tasted instant, so I couldn't finish it, and I didn't even try the eggs. 0/5 stars. I'll pass the information on to the public health department.

It's close to the centre and the bike routes, and there's a restaurant on site, so you don't have to go elsewhere for a meal. The rooms are okay, though a bit old. Someone I was with said their room smelled of smoke, but mine was fine. The place is clean, but the wifi signal in the rooms is weak, with no sign posted. That's a big downside, sorry.

The room was cold because the heat didn't work, so I changed rooms, and then the new one smelled like pizza. The price also differed from what was on the booking. I paid cash but wasn't given a receipt. The man at reception lied and claimed we hadn't come, apparently trying to get our money twice through the booking. I'd give zero stars if I could.

The service was poor, and breakfast was average. The room smelled bad, and the towels were old and grey. The hotel feels decades out of date, yet the price is astronomically high. I tried to leave a review on booking com, but couldn't, as it seems the review function there was blocked. Honestly, avoid this hotel.
