The apartment had everything we needed and felt cozy, with lovely decor. Pilzhof is tucked away at the very end of Filzmoos, peaceful and close to nature, with breathtaking mountain views. I loved it. The owner has goats and horses, and hearing the goat bells in the morning was magical. The owner is kind, helpful, easy to talk to, and has great recommendations. There’s also a restaurant in the same building, run by someone else, and the food there is outstanding. We stayed with our two dogs and had plenty of space with no issues at all. A dream place for a holiday close to nature!

We had such a good time in Filzmoos. There’s plenty to do nearby, from hiking and cycling to swimming and climbing, and the village is only a short walk away. The views stretch all the way to the Bischofsmutze. Our apartment was roomy, the hosts were so kind, and the farm animals around the property were a big hit with the kids.

We were lucky with the weather and got to be there during hot balloon week. There was lots of fresh snow, and the apartment (romana) was spacious, quiet, and had covered parking. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the horses were beautiful. The skibus is about 250m away, and you can ski along the cross-country track to the rettenegg lift and the skibus.

We ended up going three times during our week in Filzmoos. The food was excellent, with Austrian dishes alongside modern European cuisine, and the setting felt really cozy. Service was outstanding too.
