Deer came right into the gardens, and the people were always smiling. The location was marvellous, and the apartments were extra clean and well equipped with all the comforts. Hallstatt, Dachstein, Salzburg and Grossglockner are all easy to reach from here. We’re grateful to Fam. Rettenwender for their hospitality. Thank you!

We’d come back anytime. The apartment in a private house was spotlessly clean and well kept, and our very nice hostess gave us useful information about the surrounding area. In the evenings we enjoyed a sundowner on the balcony, then woke up to a view of the Bischofsmütze mountain.

We stayed for nine days in August and were absolutely thrilled. The warm hospitality and fantastic apartment made us feel welcome from the start. Filzmoos is an ideal base for hiking, with a fantastic view of the Grosse Bischofsmütze. Best wishes to the Rettenwender family. We'll be back!

You can head straight onto the hiking trails from the house, and it’s wonderfully quiet here. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home. I’d definitely recommend Haus Sonnental if you’re after a peaceful hiking stay.
