We’d been a bit unsure about staying here after reading some reviews, but ended up having an amazing time. It’s a quiet, low-key area with private access to the lake, and the staff were extremely kind. We’d also read that the rooms can get hot in summer. Our apartment with a balcony was on the first floor, and it got very hot, which wasn’t ideal with a baby. We’d come back and book an apartment on the first floor, as those are apparently much cooler. Hope that helps someone!

The houses are spacious, well equipped, and have a really inviting, comfortable feel. It’s an absolutely lovely place. The Wi-Fi struggles with video and isn’t the fastest, but it works well enough for general browsing.

The peaceful atmosphere and old architecture make this a lovely hotel. The personnel were very welcoming, and the crystal-clear lake is easy to reach. It’s a fascinating natural setting and a beautiful wedding location with a rustic style. You can even get married right by the lake.

The vegetarian meal was proper, and that willingness is why I’m giving four stars. Still, making guests pay for heating in houses with practically no insulation would put my rating closer to two or three.
