Our three kids, almost 2, 4, and 6, loved staying here. The family spa was a favorite, and the indoor playground was fantastic for both the little ones and older kids. There’s also a nice outdoor playground, though we barely used it because of all the snow. The slopes are close, with the first one just a few steps away, or an eight-minute walk to the main stations. The hotel is so good for families: HIPP food bar, wet cloths for food-smeared faces, and little bathrobes for the kids. The staff were very considerate about my husband’s nut allergy, and so friendly that nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was absolutely amazing, with loads of options, including healthy choices for the kids. It could qualify for the Michelin guide. We had an amazing week and want to return next year, and the year after, and the next! I can imagine it must be lovely in summer too. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

The food was excellent, the staff very kind, and the facilities were great for adults and kids. Still, a few things mean I wouldn’t visit again. The meal times were very limited, with lunch, for example, only from 12 to 2. My one-year-old wakes at 5 a.m. and eats breakfast and lunch very early. I asked if they could accommodate us and was told no, so he went without lunch for our entire stay, despite the very high price. They had emailed to say he could at least have breakfast at 7, but when I tried, the service staff said that wasn’t possible. The rooms are lovely, but lack some basics I’d expect in a four-star hotel: there’s a boiler, but no coffee or tea bags, slippers, or toothbrushes. The unsupervised playroom is supposedly open 24 hours, yet the lights aren’t switched on until 6:30 a.m. So from 5 to 6:30 I was stuck in the room with my son because he couldn’t play in the dark. Why say it’s open 24/7?

We’ve stayed at Laurentius four times and have always come away happy. It’s especially well suited to parents with young kids: the childcare is top-notch, the staff are attentive and capable, and there’s plenty of tasty food to choose from. In summer, you’re close to impressive mountain ridge trails, including accessible routes; in winter, there’s a good range of ski runs. We’d happily recommend it for either season.

Our two children were both under three, and the separate kids’ room made evenings much easier. We could keep their bedtime routine while the adults enjoyed some time together. The hotel also has lots for young families, including excellent childcare and a baby monitor that works throughout the property. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the pools were well maintained. The massage could have been more thorough, though. Everyone in our family was happy with the stay, and we’d come back. Thank you for making Christmas so memorable for us.
