It’s right among a huge cluster of ski slopes, and the hotel has a really big ski room with a drying rack for boots and tools to maintain snowboards. For families, it’s the most kid-friendly hotel I’ve ever seen, with a two-storey playroom. They also lend out sleds and hiking backpacks for carrying babies.

A great Gasthaus for families or groups of friends heading to the Flachau skiing region. The rooms are clean and nice, and you get really good accommodation for the price.

The location is wonderful and extremely quiet, and the girl at reception was nice and tried to help. Even so, our three-day stay was very disappointing. The room wasn’t clean, the beds weren’t comfortable, and we found insects in the sofa two or three times. There weren’t any activities for the kids. The kids club was dirty and didn’t even have coloring supplies. Reception closed at 12:00, and we weren’t given enough information about the hotel facilities. When we asked about laundry, they said we should have asked earlier.

The owners were awesome, and it’s a great place for families. We wanted to stay longer, but it was fully booked for the rest of our vacation, so we had to move on. We warmly recommend it. You’re lucky if you managed to book.

The rooms are spacious and nice, and there’s plenty for kids to do when the weather’s good. But if it rains for days, things get tricky. There is an indoor playroom as advertised, though they no longer provide kids’ entertainment, even though the Homepage still lists it. A fine place to stay.
